Roadster
Show
The new Roadster drives upside down, jumps over cars and flips in mid-air. Scroll to see how, then take it to the test track and try it yourself.
0–60 in 0.81 s*
Electric motors drive the wheels. Cold-gas thrusters add force the tires alone can't, firing the car down the strip faster than grip should allow.
*Reported claim. Each version has its own figure.
It drives
upside down
Fans pull air out from under the car. The pressure difference holds it against the track even when the track turns upside down.
It leaves
the ground
Pressurized gas fires downward through the nozzles. When the push beats the car's weight it lifts, high enough to clear a Cybertruck.
It flips
mid-air
Thrust at different points of the car makes it rotate. In the simulator you control the flips, and you have to land them.

A launch timing strip, a loop you can only finish with the suction fan on (or a lot of speed), and a thruster jump over parked Teslas.
